Medipass: La nueva solución segura para bonos electrónicos de salud

Luego de un esfuerzo de investigación y desarrollo que se extendió durante más de tres años, la empresa Medipass lanzó un nuevo bono electrónico de salud. “Con esto, los pacientes ahora tendrán una alternativa para la compra de sus bonos, puesto que se rompe la dependencia que tenían los prestadores a un único proveedor, que además obligaba a los usuarios a autorizar el registro de su huella digital en una base de datos”, destaca Alfonso Escobar, gerente general de la empresa.

Este nuevo canal de atención en salud comenzó a operar como plan piloto el lunes 8 de abril en el Centro Médico Medigroup y el Centro de Diagnóstico y Laboratorio Vival. Durante el período de pruebas, que se extenderá durante poco más de un mes, se emitirán bonos electrónicos de Fonasa en modalidad libre elección, como un último chequeo antes de que el sistema comience a operar en régimen, a partir de la segunda quincena de mayo.

“En una primera etapa nuestro sistema de bono electrónico estará integrado a Fonasa y estamos en conversaciones para poder incorporar a las diferentes isapres y compañías de seguro complementario en este servicio”, acota Alfonso Escobar, gerente general de Medipass.

El objetivo para 2019 es alcanzar una emisión de, a lo menos, 150.000 bonos electrónicos entre los sistemas Fonasa e Isapre.

El bono electrónico Medipass fue diseñado como un mecanismo de atención de salud basado en servicios, de modo que aquellos prestadores que dispongan de procedimientos propios, tendrán la opción de integrarlo a sus sistemas. Ello optimizará la eficiencia de los procesos de atención y las personas percibirán una reducción en los tiempos de atención.

También aumentará la seguridad de los datos personales, por el uso de tecnología biométrica aplicada por Medipass, una solución que evita almacenar la huella digital y el enrolamiento de los pacientes, dado que el sistema opera con la información biométrica almacenada en la cédula de identidad del paciente. Este método resguarda íntegramente la confidencialidad de información de los usuarios del sistema y evita la suplantación al requerir la presencia de la persona y su cédula simultáneamente.

“Los prestadores van a poder ofrecer una mejor atención a público. Antes del lanzamiento de nuestro bono electrónico, con un solo proveedor, si el sistema fallaba los pacientes se quedaban sin alternativa, generándose pérdidas de tiempo y molestias” debiendo realizar trámites adicionales como ir a una sucursal de su Isapre o Fonasa y pedir una nueva hora en el centro de salud con la consiguiente pérdida de tiempo y costos de traslado, explica Alfonso Escobar.

Grupo Inexoos, un holding chileno enfocado en soluciones tecnológicas para las industrias de educación y salud, planea expandir su presencia en América Latina a través de adquisiciones, dijo el CEO David Fuller.

Los objetivos deseables para el holding de 15 años incluirían proveedores de tecnologías de educación y atención médica en Chile, Colombia, Perú y México, dijo Fuller. Los objetivos de interés deben estar bien administrados y tener una base de clientes interesante, agregó.

Inexoos ya ha celebrado reuniones con un objetivo potencial en Chile y planea cerrar un acuerdo en los próximos 12 meses. Mientras tanto, sigue siendo receptivo a las propuestas de los jugadores que se compran a sí mismos y asesores de M&A de venta, dijo el CEO.

El holding, que genera USD 20 millones en ingresos anuales, trabaja con las empresas legales chilenas Elton y Cia y Montt Group, dijo Fuller.

Inexoos ya ha confiado en M&A para acelerar su expansión. En 2015, adquirió el proveedor de software de evaluación escolar Mateonet, con sede en Santiago. Un año después, compró Medipass, un proveedor con sede en Santiago de soluciones de pago digital para empresas de atención médica. Y en 2018, aseguró una participación mayoritaria en CNT, un proveedor de sistemas de información de salud con sede en Bogotá, señaló el CEO.

También posee otras dos filiales: la administración escolar y la plataforma pedagógica Napsis, y Nusystem, un proveedor de TI de sistemas de administración de recursos para grandes corporaciones, señaló el CEO.

Inexoos atiende a más de 1.100 clientes. La mitad de sus ingresos provienen de sus soluciones de tecnología educativa, el 40% de su brazo de tecnología de la salud y el 10% de Nusystem, dijo Fuller.

Grupo Inexoos busca adquisiciones para expandir las soluciones tecnológicas de educación y salud en América Latina, dice el CEO. El holding tiene presencia física en Chile, Colombia y Perú, y planea aventurarse en México dentro de los próximos 12 meses. También planea vender sus soluciones de tecnología educativa a clientes en Brasil, Ecuador, Guatemala y Nicaragua a través de distribuidores locales, señaló el CEO.

Inexoos vio que la demanda de sus soluciones tecnológicas para la salud aumentó un 50% en el 1S20 frente al mismo período del año pasado debido a la pandemia de COVID-19, señaló el CEO.

La demanda de sus soluciones tecnológicas educativas también ha aumentado, dijo Fuller, y agregó que Inexoos lanzó una plataforma en línea el mes pasado, que ayuda a los maestros a medir el rendimiento de aprendizaje de sus estudiantes. La solución se está utilizando actualmente en 50 escuelas chilenas, señaló.

El viernes 17 de julio de 2020, el área Técnico Pedagógica del Grupo Inexoos, a través de sus empresas dedicadas a la educación escolar, Napsis, MateoNet, Napsis Capacitación, Inexoos Asesoría, en alianza  con Fundación Nostis,  Emprende Joven (Chile), Wempo (Perú) y Castores (Colombia), presentaron el seminario denominado “Latinoamérica sin Fronteras: Desafíos y oportunidades en la educación digital”.

El Gerente corporativo de Inexoos, David Fuller, dió la bienvenida  a la audiencia y los instó a transitar y asumir el desafío de  la transformación digital en beneficio de la educación de los estudiantes de Latinoamérica.

El evento, mantuvo por dos horas y media a una entusiasta audiencia de docentes y directivos de Perú, Colombia, Bolivia, Panamá, Guatemala, Brasil y Chile, se transmitió a través de Zoom y de Facebook Live.

En el seminario, participaron destacados expertos en educación de Latinoamérica, nuestra gerente del área pedagógica Dra. El tema “Desarrollo de habilidades socioemocionales”, estuvo a cargo  del experto en Neurociencias y Director de Emprendejoven, Esteban Álvarez. Finalmente desde Colombia expuso el Director de Castores Innovación Alejandro Roldán, experto en políticas educativas, innovación y liderazgo.
